Athanasios Tsadiras is a Professor at the School of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, in 1997. In 2002 he completed his postdoctoral studies in the same department on Decision Making, Forecasting and Strategic Planning.
His research interests include the following topics: Artificial Intelligence, Data mining from Economic Data, Machine Learning - Data Science, Decision Support Systems, E-Commerce, Modern Organizational Information Systems.
He has published more than 70 articles in magazines, conferences and books. He is a reviewer in many scientific journals, including Information Sciences - Elsevier, Expert Systems with Applications - Elsevier, Neurocomputing - Elsevier, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, Computational Economics - Springer, International Journal of Production Research - Taylor & Francis, Supply Chain Forum: an International Journal - Taylor & Francis
He has participated in various projects related to Data Mining from Economic Data, Analysis of Supply and Production Systems, Information Systems, E-Learning, Web Services, etc.
